Description
Looking to replace my flatmate who has moved out recently. Double room in a nice, cozy 2-bed flat in Stockbridge. The flat is really nicely decorated and well-kept, with a washer-dryer, electric shower, TV and shared garden, as well as a lovely little private patio with a table & chairs that you can access through the French doors. The living room and kitchen are open plan, with a big 5-seater couch and small table & chairs. There are lots of nice shops & cafés nearby and the closest grocery shops are a Sainsbury’s and a Scotmid.
About me: I’ve just finished my Biology MSc and am going to start work soon. I’m pretty chill as a flatmate and don’t get annoyed too easily; I’m an average amount of clean & tidy but not at all a neat freak. I prefer to set out expectations ahead of time and communicate directly about flatmate matters. I spend a some of each day out of the flat, and usually hang out in the shared spaces in the evenings. I’m sociable and pretty extraverted but I also need my own space and so I understand the importance of granting that to others. I sometimes have friends over for movie or game nights which you’d be welcome to join. As well as science, I also do some work in theatre & write creatively, so don’t be afraid to reach out if you’re an artsy person either!
Move-in date can be ASAP and ideally around/before April 12th. Flat is lgbt-friendly and I’d prefer that prospective flatmates are too. No pets are allowed, unfortunately. Happy to share with students as long as you are willing to share council tax payments. Just send a message if interested or if you have any questions and I’ll try to respond promptly :)
