Description
About the flat:
This is a two bed flat, so you would be sharing with another person (me) and I am looking for someone to move in by the end of may (or to have at least signed the lease). It is a double room with a large wardrobe and plenty of natural lighting. There is a shared bathroom with a bath and a shower over the tub; a shared living room with a dining table; and a shared kitchen with a washing machine. The flat also has two large cupboards in the hallway for extra storage (shoes/jackets/hoover/ironing board etc.
The flat is situated directly next to a Lidl and there is a post office opposite the block of flats too. There is also a Sainsbury’s, Asda, McDonald’s, M&S, Poundland, x2 ALDIs, x2 Greg’s, x2 Costas, Starbucks and Kaspas, all 10-15 mins (walking) away, as well as much more.
Town is a 10/15 minute bus journey away, with the 4, 44, 34 & 35 buses all going that way from right outside the building. And the flat also comes with a designated parking spot should you need it.
Each month rent is £550 each, with general bills coming to around £60-£80 per month and then council tax (tax band D). Due to council tax reasons I am looking for either a working professional or a student who is willing to contribute to a quarter of the council tax.
About me:
My name is Hester, I’m a 22 year old female professional. Ideally I am looking for another female flatmate between the ages of 20-28 (however I can be flexible with this).
I am a fairly clean and tidy individual, especially when it comes to communal areas, so I’m looking for someone who is also willing to keep the place moderately neat (nothing too drastic).
I really enjoy cooking and I am currently investing some of my free time into writing all my recipes down into an empty cookbook that I got for Christmas! I am a very artsy individual too and I have a large collection of arts and crafts materials (from felt - jewellery kits - paints and pens etc etc :)) )
I absolutely love going to the gym, and I aim to get myself there around 4 times a week.
I like to socialise; so I am completely fine living with other individuals, whilst also enjoying my own company and respecting other’s personal space. I’m quite adaptable too so I feel like I could be a decent fit no matter the atmosphere. I occasionally like to have the odd friend over, but I often do my socialising outside of the flat, so I wouldn’t be having people round all of the time. Furthermore, I do spend a couple nights a week at my boyfriend’s too, so you would still have a few nights each week to yourself :)
I would love to share with someone who has similar interests to me and who would like to chill and watch a film or something together once a week or so.
Please feel free to message with any questions :)
