Hi there! :) I'm offering a 3rd floor spacious double room in a stunning historic townhouse in West End, close to Haymarket, Princes Street, Water of Leith Walkway, and Dean Village.

The house features beautiful cornices, sculptures, ornamental ceilings and staircase raillings. There is also a view of Edinburgh Castle and you can watch colourful lights and fireworks during the Fringe festival from your room and your kitchen!

I am leaving for Cambridge to do an internship and my landlord allowed me to sublet my room for when I'm away. The landlord lives on the ground and 1st floors of the house, but has their own kitchen, bathroom, and living room.

The room is available from 12 May, however, an earlier date is also possible if needed.

Included in rent:
- utility bills, council tax (band H), broadband, TV licence,
- cleaner coming weekly to clean all the shared spaces,
- toilet paper (bought by landlord in bulk when running out).

- 2 desk lamps,
- 1 clothes drying rack.

Shared spaces:
- kitchen/living room shared with 5 others,
- bathroom (with a bathtub) shared with 2 others,
- small WC shared with 5 others,
- beautiful historic hallway and staircase,
- cellar with bicycle storage,
- small rear garden.

There is a dishwasher and a new washing machine in the kitchen.

There are certain maintenance tasks allocated to tenants: starting and emptying the dishwasher, purchasing kitchen supplies (dishwasher tablets, washing up liquids, etc.), taking recycling out, and taking other rubbish out when needed.

You may have guests to stay for a few nights as long as you inform our landlord and other tenants in advance.
