Description
This spacious room would suit female students who want to save on rent when they're at home between terms. It would work equally well for female professionals who are in Edinburgh on short contracts.
NO COUPLES OR PETS PLEASE. (Sorry about the caps, but it saves time).
About the house: We live in a three-story Victorian semi located on Gilmour Road, EH16, a 5-min walk to the UoE Kings Buildings, and 10-15 minutes into central Edinburgh. Excellent transport links to the vet school and beyond. It's an old house and I'm looking for housemates who are neat, clean, and considerate of its age.
About the room: it's a large double facing the back garden, very light with a quiet feel. Furnishings include a double bed, two spacious built-in wardrobes, a chest of drawers, a book shelf, and a desk and chair. IF you don't have your own bedding/towels I can supply these at cost value. You'd be sharing the shower room with the other housemate on that floor, currently about to start her first year of a PhD at Kings. There's plenty of space for two people's toiletries, towels etc.
Shared areas: these are as shown in the pictures: TV room, dining and open-plan kitchen, and the garden. I just ask if you use the garden furniture to put the cushions away when you come inside so there's no rain damage. Re cooking, I have most cooking things you'll need, plus plates, cutlery, glasses ... If you require specialist cooking paraphernalia you can pick this up. Cameron Toll shopping center is a quick walk away, and there's a Sainsbury and Aldi, and other shops. Some general info:
