About room:

Ideal move in date 14th July 2024

• moderately spacious room / fits a double bed and storage units comfortably. Comes with a LARGE built in wardrobe. Wooden floors and white walls, big window letting in lots of natural light during the day.
• Room is unfurnished (however there is a full length free standing mirror)
* photos of room from previous tenant - she had a kind size bed which was a little big for the space*

About flat:
• really spacious and bright ground floor flat. Filled with art and houseplants
• there are 2 bedrooms, bathroom with a tub and shower, good size kitchen with dishwasher and large fridge/freezer, shared spare room for storage (mini office and laundry space + extra wardrobe), plenty of storage cupboards, large communal living room with a sofa bed.
• Flat also comes with a very friendly and rather chonky CAT :) He is a 2 year old British shorthair named Chai. The man of the house let’s say. 🐈
• flat has a private landlord so no agency faff
• located in a quiet neighbourhood - not very glamorous area of Pilton, but I have never had issues here, neighbours are all rather relaxed. There is free on street parking in front of flat. A bit of greenery out front as well as large space at back of flat (it’s unused/ only for laundry in summer)
• nearby shops - Morrisons 10 mins walk away, Lidl 15/18 ish mins walk. Greggs and corner shop 6 mins away. Easy and fast connection to craigleith shopping centre (Lidl, Sainsbury’s, M&S, boots + more)
• 5 mins walk from nearest bus stop to city + many more 10-15 mins walk from flat.
• flat is about 20 mins away from city centre, with great connections also to leith and the airport.

About me:
I am a 24 year old social media creator / currently bartender but looking to make a switch to a daytime part time job. I graduated in 2021 with a degree in fashion technology from Heriot Watt. I work mostly freelance and sometimes from home. My schedule is not 9-5 so I am around the flat a lot. I was born in Poland but have lived here for 16 years so I feel pretty local.

I love to travel, cook at home, try new things, I am pretty easy going and enjoy socialising when given the chance. I’m quite confident, positive and creative with a friendly and open attitude. I like to attend fun events, go for drinks, fuel my clothing addiction (all the fun girlie things 💅🏼). I listen to indie, pop, RnB, feel good tunes. Enjoy a good medical series, rom coms, new movies - not really one for reality TV.

My ideal flatmate:

• a fun outgoing and sociable girl - I love to sit down and gossip, cook together, share things, I am looking for someone to be my flatmate as well as become a friend over time. I would love to be able to go out together and coexist comfortably.

•. Looking for someone who is happy to keep shared spaces clean and organised to best extent and tidy after themselves, I’m not a clean freak but I believe everything has its own space.

• Must like cats !!!! 🐈 As the third flatmate is a furry little creature my ideal flatmate will love him as much as I do. He is super chill and sleeps most of the day, but he has his playful moments. The type of cat that will cuddle but on his terms. Not aggressive at all, very relaxed kitty.
I will ask you to help me with caring for the cat on occasion, like nights away or short trips. It would only include feeding and occasionally litter. This is very important to me and I really hope to find someone who is okay with this :)

• I’m pretty understanding and happy to share the flat accordingly, I’m really hoping to find someone who can communicate with me as just a reasonable person and have no petty behaviour.

• good common sense

• this is not a huge party flat however very open to host gatherings and little get togethers when you feel like it! All within reason. I do love a little drink!

• if you’re in a relationship (all good with me) however, I do not want them pretty much living in the flat as I have had bad experiences in the past with this. Sleepovers etc more than ok again, all within reason and communicated :)
