We’re looking for a long-term housemate to join our home in the peaceful area of Trinity.
We have a spacious second floor flat; more of a house, with our own entryway and private garden. The bedroom is on the smaller side of a double room with a south facing window, fully furnished and ready to be personalised! The home has large common spaces including a sizable living room and dining area. All appliances are shared and well cared for.
One bathroom with a spacious rain shower, plenty of windows, natural light, and hardwood floors. Plus one available in-road parking space.
You’ll be moving into a home that we love immensely and care for, the property itself is well maintained with a professional property management company and reasonable landlord.
We are friends who have lived together for almost a year! We value the warm, whimsical home space that we have created & spend a lot of time at home. We enjoy summer garden parties and socialising, respect each other's down-time and prioritise creating a safe and comfortable environment. We do a lot of cooking in the home, and like to do film nights, poetry readings, impromptu singing, and long walks by the sea.
Jessie (they/them) works in hospitality and Aliya (she/her) in veterinary practice.
We are excited to find someone to join our home unit, and hope we can become friends! We are an open, creative, queer-friendly progressive home.
The location offers multiple bus routes (8,9, 14, 16, 23 and Newhaven tram stop) to and from the city and is within walking distance of woodland paths, the sea and Inverleith park/Botannic Gardens.
Utilities and bills, average around an additional £150.
