Hello! I am a junior doctor in Edinburgh and I am looking to share this wonderful flat by the meadows starting Oct 1st 2024.
The flat is very clean and quiet, a few steps away from the meadows and just a dozen meters away from local shops, restaurants and different supermarkets. There are multiple gyms close by and the location is very close to the university library and the new Futures Institute. The flat is extremely well linked to public transport and is also a 10-15 min walk away from Haymarket train station. You can park for free with a parking permit and it is very easy to find parking spots on the street where the flat is situated.
The flat is extremely cosy, with a stylish living room with a real brick wall giving it an underground industrial feel. The kitchen is very modern, with wood countertops, a dishwasher, a large fridge/freezer and a washing machine. There is also plenty of storage in the flat if needed. The flat has broadband and very fast reliable WiFi. There is also a professional housekeeper that comes every 2 weeks which is included in the price.
The room itself is spacious, very well lit and in an extremely quiet area with double-glazed windows. It has a double bed, a new wardrobe with fitted lights as well as two drawers for extra storage.
The flat is Ideal for professionals, master's students, and PhD students. I'm ideally looking for someone who wants to move in for a minimum of 10-12 months. Ideally, the move-in date would be Oct 1st but I am flexible if the room is needed sooner.
I am looking for a clean, quiet and respectful flatmate. My schedule is also quite erratic with night shifts and late shifts so I am looking for someone who can appreciate this as well.
The monthly cost would be 925£ which includes rent, council tax, Bills, water and sewage, WIFI and cleaner 2x month.
Breakdown- £750 rent + £175 (council tax C, wifi, gas/electricity, cleaner bi-monthly)
