Join us in our lovely Marchmont flat ✨

Hello!

We are Kay and Sophie, both in our late twenties, looking for a female professional or PhD student to join us in our lovely Marchmont flat from 01 February as our current flatmate is unfortunately moving out as she’s recently bought her own place.

The flat is on the 2nd floor, and has 3 double-bedrooms, a large kitchen and utility, large living room, bathroom, and lots of storage space. We have access to the shared garden, and are very close to the Meadows and Blackford Hill.

The room available (bedroom 3 on the floor plan) is a small fully-furnished double, with a small desk, and has a separate large wardrobe space accessed from the hall, directly opposite your room.

A bit about us: Sophie is completing a PhD in marine biology, (working from home and Heriot-Watt) and Kay is a project manager in the pubic sector (typically in the office Mon-Fri). We’d ideally like to find someone who doesn’t work from home every day. We love catching up over a cup of tea, baked goods, and staying active.

It’s important to us to have a warm, friendly atmosphere and also keep shared spaces clean and tidy so we can all enjoy our lovely home. We are keen to find someone like-minded to join us, who will care for the flat and who is looking to create a calm and respectful space based on kind and honest communication.

We will hold viewings on Friday 10 (evening only), Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 January.

You will need to provide a landlord reference and complete credit checks with the letting agency before signing the tenancy agreement, ideally by 27 January.

Bills: Bills, including council tax (Band E) come to around £120-£140 per person, per month. If you are a student, you must be happy to pay council tax.
