We have a beautifully furnished double bedroom available for short term or long term lets. This would especially suit anyone working wholly from an office or hybrid around Leith or central side of Edinburgh. Or a mature student attending Edinburgh college, or any Edinburgh universities.
We live at a quiet development situated beside Granton Waterfront Avenue, Edinburgh college and opposite SilverKnowles Golf club. There is several bus routes, bus stop are only a short walk besides the one just outside on Pennywell Cottage and there is an excellent bus service to the city centre and Edinburgh Airport. The route number 8,9,14,16,24,27,37,200 is within 5-7 minutes from the house.
We are ideally located to travel to Leith and central Edinburgh in 20 mins.
Also a short bus journey to Newhaven beach.
A 10 minute walk takes you towards Granton where there are further bus routes to the city.
There is a Morrisons and off licences in 10 mins walk with post office facilities and large Sainsbury’s supermarket approx. 2 miles and M&S, Boots, Curry’s, Starbucks, located in Craigleith Retail park. There is also Pure gym next to Morrisons.
We live near Gypsy Brae a ten minute walk to the shore. Very nice promenade to go for a walk even in the middle of winter.
The room comprises of a medium size wardrobe, a chest of drawers a large double bed with storage and a TV. We have one bathroom and a guest toilet downstairs.
There is shared use of the open plan kitchen. The house is beautifully furnished throughout. I do operate a no outdoor shoe policy in order to keep my wooden flooring and carpets clean.
In terms of parking facilities, there is unallocated parking within the development.
We are looking for someone who is easy going, friendly, responsible, clean and tidy and who will treat the home with a bit of TLC.
Ideally females are preferred.
No pets. No couples or family.
We are a married couple in our late 30s without any kids. I work from home on most days. We both work weekdays 8am 6pm and like to have a quiet night in. Sometimes have friends over on weekends. Overall, it's a pretty relaxed and quiet place to stay. We are both smokers but don’t smoke in the house. Rent is including WiFi , council, and tv licence; and utilities will be shared according to use.
