Description
Hi everyone,
My roommate is moving out on 7th Feb 2025, so I am looking to replace him from 8th Feb 2025 onwards. Ideally a longer term let.
About the room:
Huge room with enormous double bed and you’ll have your own en-suite bathroom (the shower has just been refit so it’s all shiny and new). There’s even a small hallway in your room and a large built-in wardrobe.
Room is for one person, no couples sorry! And I’m only really considering working professionals. If you’re a student but are willing to pay half the council tax, we can talk :)
Rent and bills come to around £780 per person per month, but it might go up slightly (as it can do when a new tenant moves in).
About the flat:
This is prime location! We’re right near the Omni Centre at the top of Leith Walk.
Amazing bus connections and super easy to walk into town. There’s also an included car space if you have a car (I don’t use it).
Our kitchen has all the amenities - good oven, full-size fridge and freezer, microwave, and washer/dryer.
Non-smoking flat. No pets allowed.
The shared lounge room is cosy with a large couch and flatscreen TV, plus a bookshelf that will have some space for you too.
About me:
My name is Bron, I’m a 33 year old professional. I work full time in marketing, mostly from home but usually go into the office one day a week. I work at a desk in my bedroom, as I like to keep the lounge a work-free zone for the most part. If you also work from home, there’s plenty of space for a desk in your room (but it doesn’t come with one).
I’m also a published fantasy author so I work two jobs - also working evenings and weekends. Busy busy!
I’m an Aussie but have been living here for 3 years and plan to stay a long time. I enjoy a good game night, dinner parties, hosting the occasional D&D game, movie night etc. But please note this isn’t a party flat so it won’t suit someone who likes to have ragers.
I am a passionate martial artist and train 3-5 times a week, so the washing machine is in regular use so I can keep my Gis clean 😂
I love travelling and often pop out for little trips here and there.
I’d like to be friends with my flatmate - have the occasional cooking/movie night. If I have game nights, you’d be welcome etc. But I also love my own space - so am looking for that nice middle ground with you.
Looking forward to hearing from you and let me know if you have any questions.
