Spacious double room available to rent in Slateford/Shandon with bills included - ideally I’m looking for another girl to share with around my age who loves dogs (as I have one who lives here too 🐶).

About the room 🛌

It has a big window that lets in lots of light (with a brand new blackout blind), wardrobe, new double bed and brand new mattress - but I’m also going to buy a bedside table and a set of drawers to make it more cosy before you move in! It has classic Edinburgh high ceilings and a little window seat.

About me 💜

I work from home full-time in marketing, with one day a month where I travel down & back to our London office.

I have a 3 year old male cocker spaniel, who is equally up for cuddles in the flat as he is for walks. He absolutely loves company (and stealing slippers) and has been known to lie on my feet while I’m cooking - he is a really cheeky and loving character. If you go somewhere, he’ll follow (and look for a cuddle).

Outside of work I love road cycling and spin classes, wild swimming, watching rugby, racket sports, cooking and seeing friends & family.

About the flat 🏡

After renting in Edinburgh and living with SpareRoom flatmates for a few years, I’ve moved into my own 2 bedroom flat in Slateford - it’s a traditional Edinburgh tenement and I’ve spent some time making it a home since moving in, with brand new floors, windows and blinds.

It has a new kitchen with a big fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, a separate sitting/dining room, and a large bathroom with storage and a double shower.

Electricity, gas, high-speed fibre broadband, and council tax are all included in the cost per month above - figured it was easier to do it that way!

40 minutes (2 buses) to airport or a 20 minute Uber
15 minutes bus into city centre

5 minute walk to Lidl, Aldi, Boots, the park & other shops

(There’s a bus stop right outside the flat)
