Looking for a short-term tenant (with the option to extend) to sublet a double room in our lovely 3-bedroom house.
The Room:
• Rent: £850/month (includes council tax, WiFi, and weekly cleaning of common areas).
• Spacious, bright double room with a king-size bed.
• You can decorate it to your liking! Feel free to replace or remove furniture as you wish.
• Utilities: Gas and electricity average £50-65/month in winter and £25-30/month the rest of the year (depending on usage).
The House:
• Two floors with two toilets, a large kitchen, and plenty of storage space.
• Big fridge and freezer – no fighting for space here!
• A bright, spacious living room with lots of natural light – perfect for relaxing or hosting friends.
• Front and back gardens (just need light maintenance a couple of times a year – tools provided).
• Parking space and two storage rooms with loads of extra room.
• Sharing with myself, my cat, and one other flatmate.
About Us:
• Me: I’m a machine technician who loves traveling, gym, reading, video games, and cooking (you’ll probably get a nice meal now and then!). I’d appreciate a little help with my cat when I’m away – don’t worry, she’s super chill and won’t enter your room unless you invite her.
• Other flatmate: They’re the cleanest, quietest person I’ve ever met. A bit introverted but always up for a friendly chat or the occasional shared dinner.
• We’re both very clean and tidy, especially in shared spaces, and we’d like someone who values this too.
About You:
We’re looking for someone easygoing, respectful, and tidy. Bonus points if you’re up for occasional house dinners, movie nights, or just hanging out!
