Description
Hi there! 😊
Looking for my next great flatmate, as my current one will be sadly moving out to move with their partner. Ideally looking for someone to start the process ASAP.
For the property:
This is a spacious two-bedroom victorian flat in Marchmont (Thirlestane Road) located on the 2nd floor. It is a busy road with loads of people, close to cafes, shops and an Edinburgh Leisure center. Close to bus links such as 9, 24 and 5. 5 min walk from the Meadows, Bruntsfield etc.
Flat has a spacious corridor, large living room, large kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a guest room. There is a tiny room we use as a laundry room but has a desk and a chair in, bathroom and several cupboards for storage. There is plenty of room if you have loads of stuff! Flat is fully furnished and there's everything you need. All in good condition pretty accurate with the professional photos.
For the room:
Spacious room with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a fireplace.
Bills etc:
Rent is currently £850 (might go up a little bit during the change of tenancy but hopefully not as it went up last year).
Gas, Electricity and Wifi - currently around £75 each a month but they confirmed it is going down from next month.
Council Tax is approx £98 each per month.
All together about £1000
For me:
I am Ive (Ivelina), I am 27 and currently working as HR professional in the renewables industry. Mostly work from the office but trying to WFH 2 days a week for a break.
I am into all kinds of things like history and psychology. I love cooking, reading, playing badminton or going to a zumba class or similar, going to the theater, musicals etc. I love the outdoors (absolutely in love with the Highlands). You can probably find me at wine bars slightly too often but wouldn't say you would see me partying lol. Overall, i like to keep to myself some of the time to recharge but love socialising and spending time with friends, colleagues etc. Love deep chats and discussions so happy to hear about your days :) I would describe myself as quite relaxed and easy to talk to, occasionally funny (i hope?) and very clean and tidy.
I am hoping that you are also quite relaxed, respectful and easy to talk to, up for socialising but also liking time by yourself. And of course we can always go for a drink/brunch put on a movie or make a dinner! We like to keep the flat clean and tidy at all times as we genuinely treat it like home so hoping to find someone who will do the same. Definitely not a party flat so would fit a working professional most likely that tends to have a similar schedule.
Thanks for reading the novel, hope that is enough information to start with but let me know if you have any questions! If you are interested, please message me a bit about yourself and what days etc you can come for a viewing.
Best,
Ive 😊
