Description
I will be a live-in landlord for the property, living in a separate bedroom with my own bathroom. However, as my work is based outside of Edinburgh, I will only be in the flat every other weekend. So, you will have the flat to yourself most of the time. As I am a young professional, I would like to find a flatmate in a similar position with interests in cooking, remaining fit and the outdoors.
The flat comes fully furnished with a spacious living room, double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Additionally, there is allocated parking and a secure bike store.
The flat is centrally located, with only a 25 minute walk to George Square, 25 minutes to Cameron Toll Shopping Centre and 15 minutes to The King’s Building Campus of Edinburgh University. There is a bus stop a two-minute walk from the flat, with routes going across the city to Princess Street, The Royal Infirmary and The Western General Hospital.
The rental rate will be charged at £980 pcm which will include your share of the council tax (Band E) and wifi. For the variable monthly energy bills I would look to cover 25%, and request you cover the remaining 75%, reflecting the limited time I spend in the flat. However, this can be discussed depending on the time I spend in the flat. The average pcm energy bill so far in 2025 have been £30 pcm.
