Hello, I'm looking for someone to join me on the lease of a lovely two-bedroom flat on Stockbridge’s Dean Terrace, right next to the Water of Leith.

The flat is a brightly lit space occupying the whole of the second (top) floor in a Georgian mid-terrace building with a carpeted staircase. There’s a peaceful sitting room overlooking birdsong-filled back gardens, a small but well-appointed kitchen with gas cooker, washing machine and dishwasher, an informal dining room, and separate bath/shower room and WC. Stockbridge high street (Raeburn Place) is just at the end of the road, with its shops, bars and restaurants a mere minute or two away. Doorstep parking permits are available on application.

The room comes fully furnished with a king-size bed, bedside tables, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. It’s airy and light during the day and nice and quiet at night — Dean Terrace is closed to cars at the Stockbridge end, so through traffic is minimal.

I've been here for two years and absolutely love it. I’m looking for someone long term and want to take my time finding the right person. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who works from an office, although that’s not essential. I work from home most of the time and generally enjoy chilled evenings in the flat during the working week.

A bit about me — I enjoy playing sport, travelling, Pilates and generally keeping active. I’m often out and about trying a new food spot, catching up with friends or heading away on trips when I can. I’d love to live with someone who’d enjoy the odd dinner together and hopefully become friends with over time, while also appreciating that we’re both independent people who enjoy our own space too.

No couples or pets sadly.

Rent is a steal at £700 pcm, with council tax, gas/electric, internet and TV bills totalling approximately £195 on top. The room is available from 1st July.
