The 1st floor flat has been newly renovated (woodwork is still being painted but will be finished within the next week!). The rear side of the flat faces south-west, so the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen get plenty of midday to evening sun.
It has a semi-open plan layout, with a connected living room/office space and a neighbouring kitchen separated by a sliding door. The bathroom includes a large bathtub and electric shower, and there are two additional storage rooms. As a maindoor flat, it features a private stairwell and well-kept front and rear gardens.

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh two years ago and have been working in data science since. I’m fairly easygoing but like to keep communal areas clean. I love to cook (and eat!) and spend a fair bit of time at the gym making up for it 😬. I’m into looking after my plants, weekend trips, and trying new things.
You’ll also be sharing the flat with my (very spoiled) 3-year-old German Shepherd, Hades. He’s a cuddle bug and thinks he’s a lapdog. He loves making new friends and is incredibly well-trained. That said, he’s pretty chatty—he’s not too barky (mainly just at the doorbell), but he will try to talk to you.
Please note: I own the flat and currently live here, so the room is available on a lodger basis.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone sociable who enjoys hanging out or grabbing the occasional pint, but also values their own space and is happy co-existing. Someone who’s a good communicator, responsible, and respectful of shared spaces is ideal.
The flat is best suited to someone who has lived with or grown up with dogs, as Hades has a big personality.
