I am looking for a post graduate student at University of Edinburgh to take over my lease for the year 2025-2026 (can be a new student or a current student continuing their studentship). This is a spacious studio (has it's own ensuite bathroom and kitchen) with a small double bed. The bedroom has a a large study table and a large window with plenty of under-bed storage. The room is very sunny and looks onto Holyrood Road. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric hob, microwave oven, fridge and freezer and cleaning supplies. It is right next to the circuit laundry (you never have to lug your clothes across the street as some accommodations have you do). There is also a lift in the building and the studio is on upper ground level, so it is quite convenient. The location of OShea North is unbeatable- closest grocery shop is a 3 minute walk, the uni gym is a 5 minute walk, waverly railway station is a 10-15 min walk and george square is also a 15 min walk. The closest bus stop is 5 minutes away with route 35 and the other bus stops are 10 minutes away at South Bridge (with lots of bus routes). It is perfectly situated between the main campus at the university and the city centre (you'd hardly need the bus). You can get your parcels delivered to your door step or use the amazon lockers at OShea North, in case you can't stay at home to collect them. There's lots of nice cafes and pubs around. You would be right next to Levels Cafe which has canteens style hot lunches and breakfasts as well. The rent is around £15,475 per year inclusive of all bills (it is quite cheap for a studio at the university!) This is a great accommodation for anyone that prefers to live alone but also have access to the student community as there are lots of events being organised every month at this student hall.
