Hello all! I am leaving my flat in the Newington/Prestonfield area and I look for someone to replace me from the beginning of October.

This large six-bedrooms flat is located on the second floor. There are a living room with a kitchen corner and two bathrooms with shower. In the kitchen, you will find the following appliances: washing machine, electric hob, 2 ovens, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, large fridge. Other equipments in the communal area include a shared storage cupboard in the hallway, a hoover and an ironing board. There is a TV and broadband as well.

The bedroom is quite sunny (2 windows) and includes a double bed, a wardrobe, a desk, a bedside table and a chest of drawers. It comes with all the furniture in the photos.

The flat is located in a quiet area but close to all the needed commodities.

Grocery: 14 minutes walk to the Cameron Toll Shopping Centre with Sainsbury's store. There are a lot of takeaways along the street as well.

Leisure: 10 minutes walk to the Commonwealth swimming pool and 20 minutes walk to Summerhall.

The flat is also in a very green area, with only a 20min walk to the Meadows and 15min walk to Holyrood Park.

Public Transport: The flat is about 30min walk to Princes Street and is very well connected to the city centre by bus. You can take the lines 2, 7, 8, 14, 30, 31 and 33 at the stop Priestfield Road just down the flat across the road or at the stop Mayfield Gardens 8 min walk from the flat.

You will be sharing the flat with 5 flatmates with an age range from 22 to 29 year old, a mix of students and professional. Their backgrounds are quite diverse: ethnology, hospitality, retail, etc. They’re all very open-minded.

It is quite challenging to keep the flat clean and tidy with a 6 people community, so we are looking for a respectful flatmate willing to contribute to the shared effort 😄 Overall, the flat is quite relaxed and friendly. We have some movie evenings from time to time, but we also respect each other's space.
