This is a room in a 2 bed/2 bath flat on McDonald Road
Hey all, I’m Ezri (she/her) and the person I am flat-sharing with is moving out due to studying etc. There will be a double bedroom available in this 2-bedroom ground floor flat from 1st October.
Located on McDonald Road, near the south end of Leith Walk, this flat is well-connected (close to the McDonald Road tram stop and various bus links). The flat also comes with a parking permit plus an additional visitor’s permit.
The flat is accessible from the back door via the carpark with a step up (so not easily wheelchair accessible), and from the front via a single flight of stairs down. The shared bathroom has shower over bathtub, and my room has an en-suite shower-room so the shared bathroom will essentially be entirely yours!
The flat has a spacious shared living room, a good amount of storage space, and a well-sized kitchen.
The room has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk (an old one from a previous flatmate), and a double bed. The flat has 2 large storage spaces for anything extra.
I’m a bi & trans person working customer service – I like my own space and am respectful and quiet but enjoy socialising. I really love sci-fi and fantasy books, video games, and movies/TV. I play board games, and I play drums as well – I have an electric kit that is well sound-dampened so shouldn’t disturb you if you’re elsewhere in the flat! I’m vegetarian in case you have any preference in that regard.
For council tax reasons, I’m looking for a professional flatmate. This will be best suited for those looking for a long-term tenancy of at least 1 year!
Council tax band D (so about £80 per person).
Monthly rent is £750 per person with bills coming to around £60 pcm per person, which is fixed as I pay more in the summer to cover the winter. Internet £11.50 per person. All-inclusive this will come to about £900 a month. We rent through an agency, Gilson Gray, so credit/reference/affordability checks and a deposit will be necessary.
Deposit: will update with the exact amount when I have it.
