Large Bedroom with Terrace Access

Hi! We're Avani (30, she/her), Edda (27, she/her/they/them), and Kat (she/her). One of our flatmates is moving out, so we have a room available in our central Edinburgh flat - just off the Meadows - available from 1st October for long-term rent.

About the flat:
The bedroom comes fully furnished with a double bed, desk, wardrobe, and plenty of storage space, and looks out on Arthur’s Seat from an accessible terrace. However, the sofa, coffee table, and desk chair belong to the flatmate moving out.

The flat is a top floor flat split across two floors. It has a large shared kitchen/dining room and a separate living room, and one shared bathroom with a shower and separate bath.

About us:
Kat is a researcher and PhD student in chemical biology, Edda is training to be a counsellor, and Avani works in hospitality.

We're looking for someone easy-going, friendly and respectful to join in on the occasional board game night or hang out in the evenings. We’re a friendly bunch and get along well, but we each have our own social lives outside of the flat. We’re looking for someone we can get along with and enjoy chatting to, but who is equally comfortable spending time on their own hobbies. We're definitely not a party flat!

Cleanliness is very important to us, and we're looking for someone who will keep communal areas tidy and pitch in with regularly cleaning shared spaces.

Rent is £509 per month for this bedroom. Bills + council tax (band E) are not included and are usually around £130 per person, per month.

The new lease for the room will begin on 1st October.

We're looking for a long term flatmate. Professionals preferred please. (We'll happily consider PhD students if you are willing to contribute towards council tax)
