Cosy Room for Sublet in Queer Leith Flat

Our flatmate is moving out soon, and my girlfriend and I are planning to relocate in the coming months. We’re looking to sublet a lovely room in our Leith flat for an initial 3-month period, with the possibility of extending.
The flat is bright, welcoming, and perfectly located with Leith Links practically at your doorstep, ideal for morning jogs or evening walks. You’re just a 2-minute walk from a large Tesco, and within 5 minutes, you’ll find Lidl, Boots, charming charity shops, a doctor’s surgery, and a dentist. Getting around Edinburgh is easy with excellent public transport: buses 21, 25, 35, and 49 stop right outside, while buses 1, 7, 14, and 16 are just around the corner. The Foot of the Walk tram stop is also at the end of the road, connecting you to the city center and beyond.
The room is available for £500 per month (paid to me to forward to the landlord), plus £42 per month for council tax and about £20 every two weeks for electricity, shared on a rotational basis.
A bit about us: We’re a friendly couple (one trans man, one trans woman) who enjoy a mix of social and relaxed vibes. We love catching up over a pint at a local pub or settling in for a movie night at home. We’re 420 friendly and usually smoke with a window open, but we’re happy to smoke outside if that’s more comfortable for you.
I’m Toby, a bartender with a passion for gaming, psychedelic music, and horror movies. I play touch rugby weekly and like a good run! I’m also starting a Maths and Physics course next month. My girlfriend, Saoirse, is studying Theology, Philosophy, and Ethics. She’s a talented musician, playing guitar and organ, and creates atmospheric, spooky music. She’s also a great cook, so you might enjoy some delicious meals. A horror movie night with the three of us could be fun!
We also share the flat with our two well-trained house cats, Solomon Ibn Gabirol and Lana Del Rey. They’re playful, love cuddles, and have a knack for staying up late, so expect some late-night zoomies or cozy snuggles. They’re a delightful addition to the flat, and we’re happy to discuss any pet-related concerns.
