Double Room in heart of Stockbridge, Edinburgh

I've got a double room in Stockbridge going for £648/month, bills not included. The flat is super central, and despite being located right next to several pubs, restaurants, and grocery stores, the place itself is really quiet and well insulated from the noise of the city outside. Very walkable if you work centrally as I do. 30 minute walk to the bus/train station. Bus 29 into town is literally outside the door. Botanic gardens and Inverleith Park only 5 minutes away by walking, too.

I'm a game designer looking for a flatmate who, like me, is laid back but responsible (I love a good laugh and a trip - or two - to the pub, but I'm definitely not a party animal). Hoping to share with someone with similar interests (hiking, the outdoors, gaming, reading to list a few) and would prefer a vegetarian, but am open to all sorts of folks!

Your room is actually the slightly larger of the two, with tons of storage including a massive wardrobe, a large chest of drawers, two nightstands, and a shelf. There's also a bit of extra storage space in the hall and living room.

The flat also has a brand new kitchen that just got renovated when I moved in back in July: new stovetop, oven, cabinets, and floor.

Bills (council tax/wifi/gas/electric), when split between the two of us, currently work out to about £130/month in the summer, in winter probably closer to £150/month.
