Double room in Leith flat

Please note, this flat is not suitable for students! Professionals only, looking to rent for min 2 years.

We have a lovely room out for rent to a social person who shares similar interests and can lead a calm and harmonious lifestyle with us in the flat.

The flat is fully equipped, we have a large living room where we like to spend evenings watching TV, chatting up or listening to music.

Some of the flat's amenities include dish washer, dryer, kitchen tools, machines (toaster, microwave, kettle, processor etc.), two storage rooms, 2 bathrooms (you will share the bathroom with Criss, as the main bedroom has an ensuite). The desk will not be in the room.

We are renting from a private landlord through an agency who will process your application once we go through the first stages. Work and living references are required. Deposit is held through Safety Deposit Scotland, the agency is very responsive and efficient when it comes to having things fixed in the flat, and generally the area is very quiet with a balcony facing south, which means we get sun throughout most of the day.

We are looking for someone who is open-minded and can lead a lifestyle in the flat that gives a sense of community (we share expenses on toilet paper, spices, clothes and fish detergents, cleaning supplies, etc.). We would prefer someone who we can build a friendly rapport with and do fun things together such as hiking, climbing, travelling, watching movies, board game nights, midnight chats about the most random things, etc.

The non-negotiables we look for in a flatmate are: to be clean especially in the common spaces, respectful of personal space and privacy, calm and compassionate, mostly non-alcoholic (moderate level 1-2 beers every other month is ok).

Criss is from Eastern Europe, she's very active with a bubbly personality and a feistiness to match 😂 and Isaac is quite the opposite, quiet and laid back😁
