Looking for someone to sublet my room to as I need to leave the city for about 7 months due to a family medical emergency. As I plan to return to this room, you will only be living in it for 7 months at most, from this October to the end of April next year. So this will probably be more appealing for a post-grad student but I am willing to accept non students, though you must be already working.
The room is cosy, has a little office space, has wonderful large windows that lets in tons of sunlight during the day which can also be opened. It comes with a double bed, a table, 3 shelves, and two of the most massive storage spaces I have ever seen! If you turn the heater on and then off, the heat stays in for a long time so winter can be comfy here. Besides the other bedrooms, the flat has a garage that makes up the ground floor, a toilet and kitchen/living room on the 1st floor, and a bathroom on the 2nd floor. The building is located a 5 minute walk away from the Omni Centre and a 10 minute walk from Waverly. So nearly everything in the city centre is in walking distance.
If accepted you will be living with my two flatmates, Laith and Malcolm. Great flatmates and super friendly. As this is a social flat they would like someone who is happy to socialise, got a good open sense of humour and is willing to help out in moments when the flat needs to band together ie cleaning the flat, etc. Everyone treats each other as equals here.
Besides rent, other prices will be for the electricity and wifi. You will be paying council tax Band F but due to a discount I have, you will only be paying half of what you would normally pay.
When applying please do state what you do and how you will be able to cover your costs while staying here. As I plan to leave town in about a weeks time, viewings will be at short notice and realistically I will only be able to give viewings to people who are available this weekend and the start of the coming week and if successful, must be able to start the lease from the 1st week of October. I will respond to every application whether you are successful or not.
