Looking for a new roomie in a cozy, quiet flat in Gorgie/Slateford area, current roomie is moving in with his partner.
The room for rent will be £485 as of January when the rent increases, however for December it will be less at £470.50. Bills inc. internet £70~ and Council Tax Band B is also £70 per occupant. I am looking for professionals as this a requirement of the agency.
The flat is cozy and affordable, it sits on two stories so while the living room is on street level, the rest of the flat is downstairs and very peaceful :)
We have a Washer, Dryer, Freezer in the utility room, kitchen is modest but has eveything you need. Electric shower works well too. Can get a little chilly without the heating on but thankfully the heating is very good at warming up the flat!
Looking for a flatmate who will stay at least 6 months and is easy to get along with! As for myself I am a professional supporting disabled adults at a day centre. I enjoy music, singing, guitar, movies games and more! I am also a practicing Buddhist in the plum village tradition (Don't worry this just means I am easy to get along with :D)
I'd like to have a good vibe in the flat and be respectful of each others needs. I'm also very happy to hang out and either jam together, play games, watch movies etc. I will say I'm not much of a party-goer so if you want a flat with lots of noise late at night, this isn't it I'm afraid!
Someone who is LGBTQ+ or an Ally is a must. I am non-binary and use they/them pronouns. It's no sweat if you say 'he' by accident though :)

The Agency will need to do a reference check, part of this means you need a salary/income of at least £14,400. Savings unfortunately won't be considered!
