Description
Hiya! We’re looking for someone to move into our three-bedroom flat in Stockbridge. The available room is a comfy double on the second floor. It's a gorgeous Georgian building with big ol' sash windows so it gets a great amount of light.
The kitchen’s really spacious for 3 people, as is the bathroom (just had a new shower fitted too). There’s no full living room, but we’ve got a little shared box room that we’re trying to make nice and cosy for winter!
Rent is £558 a month, plus £95 for council tax. Electricity and Wi-Fi are paid separately.
A bit about us - I’m Jemima, 24. I work at a pub at the moment, so my hours can be a bit late, but I’m hoping to get a job in architecture soon. I spend most of my free time bouldering, getting out on my bike, or escaping to the sea when I can. Always up for a mooch around the charity shops too. I’m originally from England and moved to Edinburgh around this time last year - been loving exploring the city so far.
I’m Rach, I’m 24 and I work at a vintage store, and volunteer at the Palestine museum on Dundas street when I have the time!! I am Scottish and have been living in Edinburgh for about 6 years (and I still love it to bits!). In my free time, I love playing guitar, doing arts n crafts, going to the beach and occasionally doing some poetry open mic nights around Edinburgh. I also engage in activism and protests for Palestine as much as I can. I love a wee pub night or a walk around the city and countryside, and am always up for a little adventure. I have a wonderful partner who i’m currently long distance with, but he does visit and stay every now and then:) and will be moving to his own flat in Edinburgh in January! Our wee flat is a lovely, homely environment and i’ve loved living here so far- it’s truly a little haven for us:)
It is really important that our new flatmate understands that cleaning is a communal task and that chores are something that are non negotiable (in the nicest way possible!) We have a cleaning chart and it’s vital that everyone does their fair share and cleans up after themselves, to keep our space lovely and problem free.
We’re after someone friendly and tidy who’s up for making the flat feel like a proper home. It’s a really cute space, and it’d be nice to live with someone who enjoys that homely vibe too.
We would also ask that you do not respond to this ad if you are racist, anti trans rights, sexist, or not lgbtq+ friendly.
Thanks for reading!!
