Description
Hi! I’m Sam, I’m looking for a friendly, easygoing flatmate to share my lovely flat with (I am a live-in landlord). I’m not in any major rush to get someone in, my priority is to live with someone I really vibe with!
About the flat:
You’ll have a bright double bedroom with a large built-in wardrobe and drawers. There’s a spacious main bathroom with both a bath and shower (I have an en suite, so you’ll pretty much have this to yourself).
The flat has a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area - perfect for relaxing together. There’s a big TV for communal use and a fully kitted-out kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and air fryer. There’s also a built-in dishwasher and washing machine to make life easy.
I also have a balcony with new balcony furniture. Sadly not much use in the Scottish winter but is super lovely to sit out on in the summer sun!
The flat directly backs onto Ferry Road cycle/walking path which connects to various paths round Edinburgh. Stockbridge & inverleith park is a short 15/20 min walk away for nice coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and shops. There are various bus stops nearby and you can be in the city centre in under 30 minutes.
Costs:
The rent includes bills, plus a cleaner for the communal areas every two weeks (a big win!). Council tax is band E and isn’t included as I’m exempt (explanation below).
A bit about me:
I’m 28 and currently a postgraduate medical student in Edinburgh, and I also work as a pharmacist alongside uni. Because of this, I’m often out at placements or work, and I usually study away from the flat - though during exam season I may use the dining area a bit more.
In my (very limited!) free time, I like catching up with friends, but I also love chilled evenings with TV, a good book or just switching off. I’m sociable and would really love to live with someone I can chat to, watch TV with, grab a coffee and go for a walk at weekends, or have the occasional drink. That said, I really value personal space and quiet time too when I need it, and I’m always respectful of that for others.
I like to keep shared spaces reasonably tidy, but I’m relaxed and realistic- life gets busy and absolute perfection isn’t required!
If this sounds like your vibe or you’d like more info, feel free to drop me a message!
