Double Room in Beautiful Flat - Bonnington

Large sunny double available in a beautiful, spacious 2-bed flat on Bonnington Road, opposite Pilrig Park (EH6). Shared garden, street parking, Council Tax Band C (but I'm a student so if you're also a student then we get exempted).

The flat is above The Bonnington pub, but we don't get any noise from downstairs, it’s actually very peaceful and quiet as the pub is very chill and we're in a 2nd floor anyway. The living room is beautiful and gets a lot of sun, and with the double glazing, the place stays pretty warm even when it's cold out.

It’s fully furnished with a galley kitchen (dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven), a neat bathroom with a bath/shower and good water pressure, and a boxroom that we use for extra storage. We’ve also got a Plasma TV (trust me they're way better than LCDs) and sound system in the living room and some comfy couches, so it's a great setup if you like series or films in good quality. I actually got access to most streaming services so you're welcome to use that.

I'm a 3rd-year Cognitive Science student at UoE. Apart from uni, I do a lot of writing and online work, and host a weekly podcast with some friends from America. I also travel back home a couple of times a year. I'm veggie/vegan, and it's not the end of the world if you are not, but I would prefer someone who respects that lifestyle.

I'm looking for an easy-going person to share the place with. I'm not really someone who stresses about the home being in constant tidy perfection, and there are no cleaning rotas or strict routines here, but common sense is a priority in terms of doing one's part and being considerate :)

That said, I’m not looking for people heavily into parties or stuff like that. Though it would be nice to meet someone to become friends with and throw occasional get-togethers or dinner parties!
