Looking for a flatmate to take over a double room in a recently renovated 2 bed flat in Marchmont area (Sciennes Road). Ideally, move in date would fall between 12-19 January, but the date is negotiable. Viewings are possible after 6 January 2026.
The property comprises of an open space kitchen and living room, bathroom and two double bedrooms. As the flat was renovated over the summer, all of the kitchen appliances (induction stove, oven, fridge, washing machine & dishwasher) and kitchen counters are brand new. There are also two sizable cupboards for storage in the hallway. Windows are double glazed.
The available double room is around 12 sqm with a double bed and plenty of storage space - a closet, a cabinet and underbed storage. The landlord has expressed a strong preference for postgraduate and mature students or professionals.
The property lies in Marchmont area, right on the south edge of the Meadows. There are several shops in 15 min walking radius (Sainsbury's Local, Scotmid, Tesco Express). There are plenty pubs and cafes nearby as well. The University of Edinburgh main campus is under 10 mins away.
