Description
Hey all,
A spacious, bright room is available in a New Town flatshare and is looking for a new tenant.
The room is part of a quaint, slightly old-timey flat with lots of character. The kitchen overlooks a peaceful courtyard full of gardens, with a willow tree at its centre - great for a bit of calm and greenery. The room itself faces classic Edinburgh New Town scenery, including the rather architecturally intense auction house next door. Broughton Street is just around the corner and offers plenty of cafes, restaurants, and very middle-class shops. The area in general is very New Town: beautiful buildings, senior neighbours with baroque interiors, and a fair number of SUVs.
That said, the flat itself has a more low-key, lived-in feel: imperfect hallway tiles, a few scuff marks on the walls from past bicycle encounters, that kind of thing. It's comfortable, relaxed, and rough around the edges in the best possible way.
If that sounds like your vibe, I'd love to hear from you!
You'd be living with me - a second-year PhD student. I'm reasonably calm and very tidy, and I'm ideally looking for a Master's or PhD student with a similar outlook. We'll of course meet first to see if we click.
Feel free to send me a message if you're interested - I'm looking forward to hearing from you :)
