Large, furnished double bedroom for rent in beautiful Marchmont - available from 19/01/2026
Our lovely flatmate is moving out and we are looking for someone to rent his room.
The room comes furnished and has period features + large bay windows overlooking the garden.
The flat is a large, 7 bedroom, top floor property in Marchmont, a street over from The Meadows. Council tax band F.
Rent is £715 per calendar month.
Bills are currently £120 per calendar month and this includes : council tax, electricity, high speed broadband, a biweekly cleaner and goes towards a kitty which I use to order cleaning supplies and toilet paper etc for the flat.
The property has 3 fridges, two ovens, a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Parking is on street, a permit is available for the property if you have a car, which can be applied for through the council.
We are a group of mixed professionals and 2 students. We would prefer a professional flatmate but students will be considered although you must be ok with contributing to council tax ( included in the £120).
Generally we all do our own thing but all get on well and have to occasional dinner. We are not a party flat as there are already 7 of us with different schedules etc so must be respectful.
