Double Room Short Walk From Haymarket

We are a married couple who have generally always had lodgers in our second bedroom. We’re saying goodbye to our long term lodger of 2.5 years this March as they go back to New Zealand and so we are hoping to find someone new to join us in our new home we’ve just moved into.

The flat is 92sqm, with one bathroom, a large kitchen and equally large dining room. The second bedroom is what you’d be renting, all recently painted and with new furnishings.

Bills are not included, so energy, broadband and council tax are split three ways with you paying one share and myself and my husband paying the other two shares.

The flat is near lots of amenities and a couple minutes from Dalry Road which has a larger co-op/Lidl as well as many lovely restaurants. We’ve loved living in this area for the last 9 years.

We are looking for someone who is clean and tidy, sociable for some tv/board games and doesn’t mind a fairly sociable house. We tend to have a board game night every week as well as some friends/family popping over, so it’s important you’re happy with that. Additionally we have a spare room/box room with a pull out bed and as my husband (Paul) is American might have some visitors throughout the year for a few days to a week at a time if they come to visit from the states. We’re happy to occasionally make that room up for your friends/family too if that’s helpful.

Both of us work from home and the room is set up with a desk if you would like to do that full or part time too.

Viewings would generally be evenings and weekends, and we’ll do our best to be as fair as possible in deciding on applications.
