Description
I'm Bronwyn, a scientist in a biotech company. I enjoy climbing, cycling, running, baking and getting out in nature. I work from home in the living room about 30% of the time.
Sadly my current flatmates visa will expire by the end of May and she'll be returning to the southern hemisphere (Therefore I need the new rental contract with my the new flatmate to be submitted to the landlord by end April). I'm looking for a flatmate to begin the tenancy from June 1st.
I will be hosting viewings 28-29 March and will message people the week before about scheduling this.
Please send me a little about yourself in your message.
*About the flat*
I have lived in this flat for the last 5.5 years and had the chance to share the space with two wonderful flatmates (I first moved into the flat while starting my PhD and loved it so much I haven't left!). The flat is calm and while close to the city centre is in a quiet area.
The flat is on the top floor of a typical tenement style building with high ceilings and cornicing. The living room is bright and airy with views of Arthur's Seat and Calton Hill. (So you can see fireworks for Guy Fawkes and the bonfire for Beltane right from the living room!). There is a small communal garden. There are two storage rooms for larger items like luggage.
The room is large with built in wardrobes and bedside cabinet included. (Any additional furniture can be discussed with my current flatmate).
Well connected to local buses and tram. 10 minute walk to large Tesco and Lidl. Close to coffee shops, independent retailers and restaurants on Broughton St. On street permit parking and bike lockers available.
Female preferred
Band D Council Tax
At the minute I can claim internet fees through my work so you will not need to pay for WiFi.
Energy Bills average out as £50pp/month based on 2025 usage
