Double Room in a 2B2B flat in Newington

LOOKING FOR: A student for council tax reasons, or a professional who would be willing to cover the whole council tax cost. Postgraduate is preferred but undergraduate students will also be considered. Female preferred.

THE FLAT: It is a two person flat in Newington. There is a large shared living room that gets lots of afternoon sunlight and an adjoining kitchen with electric cooker, fridge and separate freezer. There are lots of shops and cafés nearby and the University of Edinburgh main campus is only a 10 minute walk away. It is also right next to Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat.

THE ROOM: The room contains a double bed, a chest of drawers and a large built in wardrobe with very generous storage space. There is also a large storage cupboard in the flat that you are welcome to use. There is no desk in the bedroom but there is a large desk in the living room that will be yours to use.

BATHROOM: You will have exclusive use of the main bathroom as the other bedroom has an en suite shower room. I may occasionally ask to use the bath tub but otherwise the bathroom is yours.

BILLS: Wi-Fi costs around £15 per person every month. The only other cost is electricity which varies from around £25 per person in the summer to around £60 in the winter.

FLATMATE: Just entered my third year of a four year PhD programme. My project is microbiology related. I enjoy eating out and trying a wide variety of foods. I only drink occasionally. I spend most evenings chilling on the living room sofa, either watching TV, crocheting or reading a book. I'm also learning Chinese in my free time.
