Bright & spacious double room available in a fantastic EH9 location right by the Meadows – £825 all bills included. Only 3 people in total.
My partner and I are renting out a spare room in our flat. The room is available from mid-April as our current flatmate is moving out. The flat is located right next to Summerhall and only a short walk to the University of Edinburgh, making it ideal for both students and young professionals.
The room itself is a large and comfortable double, fully furnished with a double bed, two wardrobes, a desk, and a chest of drawers. There’s plenty of space whether you're studying, working from home or just relaxing. A large traditional window lets in lots of natural light, making the room feel bright and airy throughout the day. The desk sits right by the window, which is perfect for studying or working.
The flat is a classic Edinburgh tenement with high ceilings and large windows, giving it a lot of character and a bright, open feel. We have a shared living room and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen including:
• gas hob and oven
• washing machine
• microwave
• plenty of storage
• dining space
The bathroom includes both a bath and a shower. The flat also has fast broadband Wi-Fi and reliable heating to keep things warm and comfortable.
Location is one of the biggest advantages:
• 1 min walk to the Meadows
• 10 min walk to UofE George Square & Main Library
• 3 min walk to Sainsbury’s
• 10 min walk to Tesco, Lidl and Asian supermarkets
• 15 min walk to PureGym
South Clerk Street and Nicolson Street are just around the corner, with lots of cafés, restaurants and shops.
You would be sharing with a couple (both working professionals). We keep a relaxed, tidy and respectful home. With only three people in total, the flat never feels crowded and has a calm, comfortable atmosphere.
We’re looking for someone easy-going, reasonably tidy and respectful of shared spaces. A student or young professional would both be a great fit.
We are ideally looking for a short-term stay from 16 April/ 1 May to 31 July, but we’re also open to a longer-term stay (1 year+) for the right person.
Rent is £825 per month including all bills (utilities, council tax and broadband).
