It's a third-floor tenement flat, between the Royal Mile and Cowgate, just down from the Tron on South Bridge, about ten minute's walk from the castle or Princes Street and about fifteen minute's walk from the Meadows or Holyrood Park. Also within fifteen minute's walk, there are five Sainsbury's, two Tesco's, a Lidl and more restaurants, take aways, pubs, clubs and souvenir shops than you will ever need.

The Council tax band is D, which means it's £190 per month between us.

Electricity bill between £50 and £150 between us.⚡
________________________

My name is Tim. I've lived in Edinburgh for about two years, after having moved here from the south of England to be with my eleven-year-old son. He stays over in my room for about one weekend every two weeks, but sometimes more, especially in school holidays. 🧔‍♀️🧒

I'm 50, but I identify as more like 30. (This is a key point and deserves its own paragraph.)🙂

For work, I do Maths, Science and English tutoring with teenagers, which keeps me young-at-heart; 🧑‍🏫 and I do a few other less interesting things, which keep me financially viable. 💷

I like to go out for a drink occasionally, and explore the city and the country that I still feel fairly new to. 🥃🏰

My son and I are both very into films, TV, music and video games, all of which we play at sensible volumes. 🎞️📺🎶🎮 We have a TV, DVD and gaming set up in the lounge, which you'd be welcome to use, and we have another in my bedroom, so as not to monopolise the communal space. 🤝

I'm fairly sociable and funny, but can also be quiet and introverted at times. I let other people be who they are and do what they want to do. I relate well to most people, so if you've read this far, I'm sure we'll get along fine. 🙂👍
