Flat share in Abbeyhill - July onwards ✨

Hello, I'm looking for a young professional to rent a room in my lovely 2 bed flat based in Abbeyhill, just round the corner from Hollyrood and Arthur’s seat.

The flat is a brightly lit space and top floor. There is a shared garden outside and plenty of amenities close by! The flat is located a short walk from Abbey Mount, Easter Road and is close to Meadowbank sports and shopping centre.

The room comes fully furnished with a king-size bed, bedside tables, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. It’s airy and light during the day and nice and quiet at night.

I have recently bought the flat, so will be doing a bit of decorating and furnishing as I go, however, your room will be fully furnished. If you would like to choose the colour of your room though you are more than welcome!

A bit about me - I’m 31 years old. I work as a Psychology Practitioner and I’m also trained as a yoga teacher. I work from home full time remotely currently and don’t mind living with someone in the same position, or who works in the office.

I’m quite a social and friendly person, so I’m happy to live with someone who wants a friendship and to do things outside of the flat. Equally, I’m happy doing my own thing and giving as much space as you need within the living environment - I recognise the importance of having a peaceful space to rest and recover in between the business of life and work!

Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, surfing, climbing, and going to the pub or heading out for the occasional night out! Some weekends I spend getting away in my campervan when I can and depending on the weather! I sometimes do a bit of dog sitting for a friend, so there may be a furry cockapoo about from time to time (but it is not a full time pet!).

I don’t mind if you have a pet depending on the details, open to figuring something out! ☺️

I’m looking for someone likeminded, who is clean and conscientious regarding sharing a living space. Ideally, you will be a working professional but open to mature students.

Rent is £700, including council tax, gas/electric, and internet etc. The deposit is £500. The room is available from 1st July onwards. I’m open to both short term, flexible and longer term lets. Viewing is possible from the 16th June onward.

(FYI: The current photos show the flat unfurnished and not decorated but this will be adjusted and a work in progress once I move in personally at the end of June).
