2 Double Bedrooms in 4-Bed Flat on Dalkeith Road

Hello there! My name is Bea, and I am moving out of this fantastic flat because I have just bought a flat. I have been lucky to persuade my lovely housemate Neisha to move in with me as my lodger, so we are looking for two girls to take over our rooms long term from 1st August 2026. I have loved living in this flat and will be sad to leave, but also excited about my new chapter!

You will be living with two great housemates, Áine (28) and Clare (26), both professionals. Áine is a neuroscientist and Clare is a civil servant. We live in a beautiful and incredibly spacious 4-bedroom flat with 2 full bathrooms, a big kitchen with a pantry, a spacious living room (Victorian terrace), 3 storage cupboards, and a communal garden (maintained by the ground floor neighbours). We are looking for two female full-time professionals (unfortunately no students) to join the flat. The flat is located conveniently for public transport (15 min by bus to the city centre), is close to Arthur's seat (you can see it from the kitchen window), and is a 10 min walk from Cameron Toll shopping centre.

Both rooms come with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. Bedroom 1 also comes with a desk. The current arrangement is that one bathroom is shared by one pair, and its cleaning is shared between the two of them (whoever gets Bedroom 1 will share Bathroom 1 with Áine and whoever gets Bedroom 2 will share Bathroom 2 with Clare). We are a friendly, respectful and relaxed bunch, who like to keep things clean and tidy and would be ideally looking for someone with a similar idea of communal living.

The rent for Bedroom 1 is £566.50 and the rent for Bedroom 2 is 559.50 (no bills included). Monthly bills are usually as follows: electricity and gas is £30-60 (depending on season), broadband is £10.12, and council tax (Band E) is £61. The property is rented via an agency, so anyone interested would have to undergo a reference and financial check through the agency.
