Hello,
My name is Callum. My flatmate is moving in August so looking to find someone to replace him on the lease so ideally only looking for long term applicants. The flat is rented via DJ Alexander so we would swap you onto the lease agreement.
This top floor flat is perfectly situated at the top of Broughton Street in the city centre. The St James Centre, Omni Centre and Leith Walk are 1 minute walk away. Waverley train station and the bus station are under a 10 minute walk away as is Princess Street. Stockbridge is under a 15 minute walk away. There is permit parking and we never have any issues finding a parking space round about us.
The flat is fully furnished. You would have the bedroom pictured along with the separate study room pictured to do with as you please (current roommate just uses is for storage). Your monthly costs, which mostly come out the middle of each month, are the following:
1. Rent = £825 each
2. Council Tax (Band D) = £97 each
3. Gas and Electricity = £40 each
4. WiFi = £16 each
5. Parking Permit (optional) = Around £120 per year based on the car
In terms of myself, I am full time working Doctor (IMT trainee for any fellow doctors), so does mean I work odd shift patterns including nightshifts. Hobbies mainly include pottery, I rent pottery studio space in Stockbridge, and I also paint. I enjoy anything outdoors. I also enjoy the gym and use Nuffield in the Omni centre.
Mainly looking for other professionals. Happy to have someone social or someone who wants to keep themselves to themselves. Most of the other flats in the building are privately owned with young families so ideally not anyone looking to host weekly parties but of course can invite friends round for dinners and social gatherings.
Happy to answer any questions and I will try get back to people as soon as possible. Plan would be to invite people to see the flat and also just see if we get on okay.
