Double bedroom in cosy bottom flat

Hi! My name is Nikki and I’m looking for a new flatmate as my current flatmate is moving out.

The room available is a double bedroom in a lovely, cosy 3-bedroom privately rented flat in Granton, available from July. The room comes furnished with a bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, a bedside table, and a bookcase. The desk and mirror pictured will be moving.

The third bedroom is used mainly as a guest room and laundry space, with a sofa bed for when friends or family stay over. It also has a desk by the window.

The flat has a small shared kitchen and a large living room with a TV and dining table, as well as a lovely shared garden, and parking is available right outside. The garden is shared with the upstairs neighbour, who is a lovely family, and we all share and use the garden space happily. We have our own shed in the garden if you have a bike.

The location is well connected, with access to Princess st via the 19, Leith via the 14 bus, and Stockbridge via the 19. There are various shops nearby including Morrisons and Scotmid, as well as gyms such as Edinburgh Leisure and The Village Gym.

I share the flat with a beautiful Ragdoll cat, so it’s important that any new flatmate is comfortable living with cats. She’s very friendly, spends most of her time in my room, and may even meow at you for treats or a cuddle.

A little bit about me: I enjoy a quieter household and appreciate having a calm, comfortable space to come home to. I enjoy gaming, travel, film, music, journaling, anime, manga, and spending time with friends. I’m quite introverted but enjoy being around the right people and would love to live with someone I can get to know, chat with, and occasionally spend time with, rather than just passing each other in the hallway.

I am strictly looking for a female flatmate around a similar age to me who is clean, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces. I’d love to find someone who enjoys having a comfortable, relaxed home and takes pride in keeping it that way.

I am looking for a long term flatmate, but there is no specific fixed date on the tenancy.

The rent is £175 per week, with all bills included such as gas, water, electricity, and WiFi etc.

Overall, it’s a really lovely little home, and I’d love to find someone who will enjoy living here as much as I do!
