Double room with great view of Edinburgh Castle

Hello there,

we have a double room available with stunning view of Edinburgh castle for rent with 2 others. The flat is a stone's throw from the Meadows, Edinburgh Art College and several bus routes. It's close to some great shops and cafés, easy walking distance to Princess St and Arthur's Seat.

The room has a custom-built raised bed made of strong oak, with a mezzanine storage space (you can take this all down if you wish). We have 2 bathrooms, a living room/cinema room (friends can stay over in this room as well) the flat also has another smaller spare room that you'd have the primary use of as the room we are advertising doesn't have any cupboard storage like the other rooms do.

You'd be sharing with 2 others in their 30's and 40's who love music, film and sharing food together occasionally. We prefer a chill vibe and don't have a lot of parties, mostly smaller gatherings. We are looking to have someone move in at the end of June/start of July (exact dates to be confirmed but definitely around that time) though we are in no rush to fill the room and would prefer to find the right person.

Rather than ask questions we'd love you to just get in touch and tell us about yourself, your work/hobbies etc.

The rent is cheap for the area, size of the room and space of the flat and this includes council tax. Bills vary (we get a discount on our energy thanks to a shared solar situation with the other flats in our stairwell). Internet is £15 a month and gas/electric is paid every 3 months and tends to be about £100 per person depending on how much we use our room's gas fires.

The Housing association we rent from are very open so whoever moves in will have the chance to decorate their room however they see fit, including painting (we have a lot of autonomy in how we organize the flat). The furniture included in the pictures of the room will not be included, sans the raised bed. (I currently live in the room you'll be renting so all pictures are full of my things).
