Double room in Holyrood

Bright and spacious room in a third-floor flat in the Meadowbank area (EH8). The bedroom is very bright and has a lovely view of Arthur’s Seat directly from the window.

The rent is £550 pcm plus bills to share (around £60) in total.

The location is excellent, with everything you need within a short walk: Lidl, Sainsbury’s, Meadowbank Sports Centre, and the Gym Group all less than 10 minutes away.
The flat is shared mainly with me. I’m 25 years old, work full-time, and I’m away for most of the day. My boyfriend also lives in the flat, although he will be studying in England, so he will only be around occasionally.
We also have a dog called Sandra. She is extremely quiet and very easy to live with – she doesn’t bark, isn’t jumpy, doesn’t chew or damage things, and spends most of her day sleeping.

This is a calm and relaxed home rather than a party flat. I keep to myself for the most part, but I’m always happy to have a chat and would like to live with someone friendly and considerate. Good communication is important, and I’m looking for a flatmate who is clean, respectful, and mindful of shared spaces.

Students or postgraduate students are preferred.

The tenancy would ideally run from September 2026 (potentially from August) until June or July 2027, making it particularly suitable for someone studying in Edinburgh for the academic year.
