Double Room Available in Friendly Newington Flat

Hi! One of our flatmates has graduated and is moving out, so we’re looking for someone to take over a room in our lovely five-bed flat in Newington.

Rent: £600 per month
Bills: Usually around £30 per person, per month
Council Tax: Band E

The room itself is an attic double with a skylight window, which lets in lots of natural light, and it comes fully furnished.

The flat has a large, spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a gas stove, and two toilets (one with a shower), so there’s plenty of shared space for everyone.

A bit about us: we’re four girls in our early twenties. Two of us are going into our final year at the University of Edinburgh studying History and Anthropology, and the other two are recent graduates. We’re a sociable flat and enjoy cooking together, chatting in the evenings, playing board games, and heading out for a drink, but we also all respect each other’s space and downtime.

The flat itself is really lovely, and we have a great private landlord who’s always been really helpful and quick to sort anything out.

We’re looking for someone friendly, tidy and considerate who’d enjoy living in a sociable flat. We’d ideally like to find someone looking for a long-term rental and we’d prefer a non-student as we’d like someone who can contribute towards the council tax.
