{Room Available / Lease Takeover} University of Ed

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a replacement tenant to take over my official lease for a Single Room in the University of Edinburgh's McLeod Street accommodation for the upcoming 2026/27 academic year.

Due to a change in personal plans, I am looking for someone to take over as soon as possible. As per the University of Edinburgh Accommodation Services policies, the replacement tenant MUST meet all the following university criteria:

✅ University Criteria (Strictly Required by UoE):
- Must be a Fully Matriculated University of Edinburgh student for the 2026/27 academic year.
- Must be a Postgraduate student (MSc/PhD).
- Must NOT currently be living in University accommodation.
- Must NOT be an EAP (English for Academic Purposes) student.
- (For Semester 2 entry, must hold an unconditional offer).

🏡 Room & Property Details:
- Location: 19 McLeod Street, Edinburgh (EH11 2FD).
- Location Benefits: Located in the vibrant Gorgie/Dalry area. It is incredibly convenient for daily life with massive Sainsbury's and Aldi supermarkets just a short walk away. There are direct and frequent bus routes straight to George Square / Central Area!
- Room Type: Single Room with En-suite Bathroom in a brand-new, modern postgraduate shared flat.
- Lease Period: Full Academic Year 2026/27.
- Rent & Bills: Official University of Edinburgh rate (ALL BILLS, Wi-Fi, and contents insurance INCLUDED).

🔒 Process:
The lease contract takeover will be processed officially and directly through the University Accommodation Services for total safety and security. (I am happy to cover the £50 official contract transfer fee!).
