Description
Hello,
My housemate is moving out of our amazing flat as she is moving to London. So I need to find someone else to live with.
It's a 2 bedroomed flat with a beautiful view of Arthurs Seat. It's an old tenement. It has double glazing in the kitchen and the room to rent, although not in the front. Gas cooker, central heating and boiler powered shower. Some mod cons!
The room has a queen sized bad. It's quite a small room, but is cozy, and has double glazing. It comes furnished with good quality wooden furniture.
About me: My name is Joe. I work part time at The Melting Pot and part time as a massage therapist. I am active in a community choir, and practice yoga a bit and meditate. I'm signed up for a weekly Tango class from Sept. I'm single at the moment. I cook a lot, make our own bread, and am mainly vegetarian. I like volunteering and being part of my community when I can (the Meadowbank locality is a great community to live in).
Other likes and interests include: cloud watching, laughter, accents, gardening (on the waiting list for an allotment), sleeping right through the nights, good speakers, the sea, being silly, ecology, smiles.
I can be very chatty and silly but also like space and time to myself. I have two quite people facing jobs and needs space to chill after work for a little bit
I am currently binge-watching ER on Netflix, but also enjoy comedy - usually cringe. I watch quite a bit of football. And good films. I don't drink much - the occasional glass of wine with dinner or beer at the pub.
Bills are approx £250 per month on top. Internet, gas, elec, and Council Tax. We also get a veg box, but that's optional of course.
I'd like to go for a beer/coffee/walk with the person to make sure we both make the right decision.
Move in date slightly flexible - it depends on when my housemate finds a place a little. But probably early/mid Oct. But this is discussable and negotiable.
Please respond with detailed information on yourself /how you think you'd fit. One/two line responses will not be replied to I'm afraid.
Renting with Umega, who are not bad out of a bad bunch.
Thanks for reading!
