Lovely Marchmont Double Room 🏡

Hi everyone! 👋

We have a beautiful double room coming up in our place on Strathearn Road in Marchmont, available from the 24th of September. 🍂

It’s a fantastic, spacious 3-bed flat inside a classic Victorian house, so it comes with those amazing huge ceilings and tons of character. ✨ It honestly feels like a proper, warm home rather than just another standard, sterile professional flat share. 🏡

👋 About us:
You’ll be sharing the space with the two of us:
First up is Josh! He’s a business and sales manager who stays busy running his own startup company. He works across Edinburgh's major events, so he's heavily involved in everything from the buzz of the Fringe Festival to the Winter festivals. He’s also a great sketch artist and always drawing! 🚀🎪

Then there’s me, Orestis! I balance life between working as a high-end waiter in the city and studying part-time for my MSc. When I'm not busy with uni work or at the restaurant, I love gaming, going for cycling, and playing water polo, where I’ve been competing since a child. 🎮🤽‍♂️

Our current flatmate is Jess but she is sadly leaving us to head off on her next adventure in London, so we are looking for another flatmate to keep a great flat dynamic (ideally female).

✨ What We Are Looking For:
We really love our space and want to keep it feeling like a home. Because of that, we want to find a friendly, responsible, and social new flatmate. We are always up for a good chat in the kitchen after a long shift, and we’d love to find someone who is keen to head out for drinks or dinner together when our schedules line up. That being said, we both lead busy lives and fully respect everyone's need for boundaries and downtime, too! 🥂💬

Marchmont is a lovely area to live in—we're right by the Meadows, surrounded by great local cafes, and it's a quick walk into the city center. 🌳☕
