Lovely bright Double Room in my cosy arty home.

Hello!

I am looking for a flatmate to move in with me temporarily and feel at home in my recently renovated flat! I have put my heart into making a cosy home and I am looking forward to sharing it. (I have more photos to come! I am away at the moment)

The room has plenty of storage, a big built in wardrobe and a nice view. The flat is situated in a quite, leafy, green part of Bonnington, and couldnt be in a better location in my opinon. It is 5 minutes walk to Pilrig Park and 10 minutes to Leith walk, the water of Leith runs at the end of the road, and Stockbridge and Canonmills are a short walk away! It is well connected by bus and tram.

I have been told the flat has a lovely calm and welcoming energy. It gets beautiful light throughout the day from all sides. The living room is a great place to relax, play music on my hifi set up, watch tv on the big telly or enjoy a quite meal while. listening to birds in the garden. Saying that I think the bathroom is the highlight- I designed and renovated it myself to make it feel like a relaxing spa room, great for long baths!

There is a private garden you can sit and relax in when the sun is out!

A little bit about me: I am an Irish printmaker and artist working full time in Edinburgh. I am at work Monday to Friday, and on the weekends and evenings if I am not relaxing and playing music or reading, I am out in nature as much as I can. I love to cook and have big plans to grow vegtables in the garden soon. I am looking for someone who is easy going, tidy, and is happy to share the odd meal or glass of wine while also giving each other alone and rest space. I take care to make my home feel safe and calm, so I am looking for an open and kind person (racists, sexists, homophobes etc. need not apply)

Bills, wifi and council tax are included in the rent. Ideally looking for someone for three months (Oct-Dec) but if it feels like a good fit we can discuss longer or shorter stays.
