The room is a room with a double bed, for single occupancy, in a flat to share with three other postgraduate students. For the gender balance of the flat, this room is for a male postgrad only. There is a large sociable kitchen of 14 sq m to share. There are two bathrooms, so one between two. The room here is 27/17 Viewcraig Gardens, room 4.
The University of Edinburgh is very close, with the most central building, Appleton tower in George Square just a 650 metre walk. Moray House College is across the road.
The room and our service are designed with international students in mind. Gas, electricity, BT Infinity internet and other services are included in the rent. We offer 25 years of experience, as a family run business.
The room will become available in September, not before. It is for a postgraduate student only, here for a 12-month course, as you will be sharing with others matching those requirements.

The room has a good IKEA desk and other furniture as pictured. The bed is a 4ft double. Blinds, curtains, double glazing, private door lock, and central heating radiator with in-room thermostat are included in the room. For exclusive use of the room, there is a large deep lockable ceiling height cupboard, just outside the room on the landing in addition to the large built-in wardrobe inside the room.
Communal facilities within the flat include kitchen/dining room with a washer drier free to use, large table, fridge freezer and full kitchen facilities. There is wireless throughout the flat.
There are two bathrooms in the flat, meaning two WCs, two Mira electric showers, two washbasins and one bath between four persons... the next best thing to en-suite.
The flat is very central in Edinburgh and the facilities within easy walk are very good. The excellent University Sports Centres are within 5 minutes, as is the mountainous Holyrood Park, the Scottish Parliament and the Queen's Palace. Several medium sized supermarkets are within 5 or 6 minutes. The University Societies Centre, Pleasance Theatre and the centre of nightlife in Edinburgh are also within 5 to 6 minutes. The train station and Princes Street are about a 10 minutes walk.

Secure bike storage can also be arranged on the ground floor. Recycling facilities are provided inside and outside.
