Lovely, spacious Polwarth flat sublet, I am looking for a mid to late 20s - early 30s professional female, non-smoker who is like-minded, enjoys the usual girly things, is friendly, sociable and relatively tidy.

You also really need to like cats (as I have one!) so if you are allergic or don’t like cats this isn't the place for you! Ideally I’m looking for someone who would really love an opportunity to live with a cat and is willing to look after her occasionally when I go away. She is a total sweetie and I can promise cat cuddles after a suitable time has passed for her to get to know you!

About the flat:

Spacious double bedroom complete with furniture (inc, sofa, double bed), big lovely kitchen with 2 seating areas and bathroom with bath and shower. Gas central heating, Internet, land line phone, cooker, washing machine, big pulley clothes drier.

Located 5 mins from Fountain park, a 15 minute walk from the west end, 20 odd mins walk to centre of town and 10 mins to lovely Bruntsfield and Morningside shops and cafes - it’s a really great location.

Parking: If you have a car, you will need a secondary parking permit for the flat.

I am only looking for someone who is chatty and is prepared to do their share of keeping the flat nice. If you are someone who likes to keep their bedroom door permanently shut and keep to yourself, please don't apply.

I want to share with an open person who is happy to have a chat at the end of the day, leave their door open if they’re out during the day to let the light into the flat and who is happy to share the kitchen and bathroom cupboards. If you’re the kind of person who wants/expects to have their own personal kitchen cupboards, own shelf in the medicine cabinet and who will only wash up the items that you personally have used then please don’t get in touch - I’m a very open and sharing person and I want to share my flat without dividing everything up into yours and mine like student halls. I’m not going to use your food and stuff, but if you need to borrow an egg help yourself and feel free to use my pots, pans and crockery.

I am an almost 32 yr old professional, very friendly, sociable and easy going. I'm looking for a professional female who I can pass the time of day with, hopefully get to know well and who is tidy and clean, but not obsessively so! I can be a little messy with washing up so don't want to live with someone who is either obsessively clean and tidy or really messy - so if you are either of these things this is not the flat for you. If you fall nicely in the middle and don’t have an issue with some dishes lying around for a day or two, then great!!

One important thing to note is that there is no shared living room in the flat - but the kitchen is large and has a settee area.

I realise this is a lot of blurb and may sound a little picky but after 6 years subletting this flat you come to realise what you are and aren’t prepared to live with and it’s better to be up front about it when advertising! Pretty devastated that my current flatmate is moving away for a new adventure but am really hoping I can find someone just as awesome to replace her!
Please also note that give 1 full calendar month’s notice whenever you decide to move out.
