Double room in friendly happy houseshare

Hello, modern double room, with excellent storage space, overlooking gardens, for rent in friendly, happy house.

The house has a fresh feeling is snug and cosy, with a sun room. Bedrooms are white and South facing, downstairs the kitchen is red and pale white/green with a bright and stripy floor. Sunroom and little garden are both South facing.
There is free parking and the house is located in a quiet courtyard well away from the road, so no rush of traffic outside. Neighbours and all nice and say hello to each other in passing. The beach is 2 mins walk from front door.

There is a shared small, but comfy living room and the kitchen is well stocked with pot and pans etc. The washing machine and fridgefreezer are large and new. There is no microwave and also no TV in the livingroom. There are two loos and one shared bathroom, with good electric shower and a bath.

The beach is 2 mins walk one direction, the bus into centre of Edinburgh 2 mins walk the other direction. There are loads of buses and it takes 15 - 20 mins to get to the very centre of town. The busses go to all parts of Edinburgh and very good night bus service too.

All bills are included in rent, that means ALL bills and includes a cleaner, cleaning products/materials and loo roll (I buy bulk so that I can buy eco friendly and there is not the bore of running out of loo roll or kitchen towel etc). Gas and Electricity are 100% renewable energy. It is not at all a houseshare with a political agenda, or eco-warrior shouty enthusaiam, these is a bit of an awareness of how personal choices like 100% renewable energy can make a difference.

Portobello is a lovely place with a great swimming pool and gym 6 mins walk away from the house, loads of cafes, pubs, restaurants, independent shops, Co-op super market.

There are lots of community things starting up again: a farmers market, all sorts of musical groups and sports/yoga/rowing/wild swimming groups, spiritual things and artistic things. People are friendly and relaxed and smiley.

As for me... I work running my own business leading movement/dance, though during this 'Covid time' I am doing a freelance contract doing business development stuff with wine makers from around the world, working from home. I also (normally) cook for retreats and small festivals. I have lived in many countries and done all sorts of things, both conventional and unconventional. I am practical, happy, friendly and busy with my life, which I really enjoy.

The other person in the house works moved in recently and is warm, friendly, independent, relaxed and super happy to be back in Edinburgh/Portobello after many months at home in Germany during lockdown.

PS: The house will not really suit you if you are into watching loads of reality TV. If you are at a time in your life when you are taking recreational drugs', or If you are in a very dark, or difficult time in your life (sorry), also not ideal if you are really into Tinder/Grinder. Actually the final thing would be, if you sleep very lightly you might be bothered by the sound of seagulls in the morning and evening. Living beside the sea is wonderful, but it does mean you share your environment with lots of seabirds. Wow that's quite. list, I hope it does not sound grumpy, but rather is useful in helping you decided where you are going to take time to see.
